DIY - Work on your own Boat!

We allow boaters to work on their own boats. What better way to get to know your vessel than to crawl in your bilge or strap on a paint suit and get dirty. We offer daily and monthly rates and provide power and water. We haul and launch Monday through Friday on the tides during normal business hours. Prior to your haul out we will ask you to sign a yard rule sheet.
Key points on our rule sheet:

  • Any sanding below the waterline needs to be done with a dustless sander that we approve. We rent a Festool for your convenience.

  • Any bottom paint applied needs to be legal in the state of California

  • A Corkage fee of $10.00 per foot will be assessed on bottom paint not purchased at Napa Valley Marina.

  • Support stands and pads can only be moved by Napa Valley Marina staff.

  • All tenants need to comply with the Clean Water Act established by the EPA

Project Boats

Defined as any vessel that has minimal value or needing extensive work or a vessel that has to be towed in. We reserve the right to require a $100.00 per foot security deposit which demonstrates your commitment to your vessel. Upon successful launch we will refund your deposit.

WE WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO YOUR VESSEL DUE TO ITS INABILITY TO WITHSTAND A NORMAL HAUL & LAUNCH AS A RESULT OF ITS AGE, CONSTRUCTION OR DESIGN
